Welcome to the World, Piper!

I am very excited to announce the birth of our little girl, Piper. She arrived at 1:33 in the afternoon a couple of weeks ago, weighing 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and is 19 and ½ inches long. She is tiny and adorable—and already a pound over her birth weight. I’m not sure where she gets the hearty appetite from. Ha ha!

We are happy, exhausted, and enjoying getting to know our daughter. Oona is equally as entranced and checks on her all the time. We won't be sharing many photos of her, so that she can have some privacy, but here are a few of our favorites.

PS: When they say you can never have too many receiving blankets, sleepers, and wash cloths, they sure weren't kidding!
